These terms protect visitors, community contributors, and Amy's original work while keeping the recipes welcoming, useful, and free.
01
Dietary & allergy notice
Recipes are written without ingredients intended to contain gluten or yeast, but brands, manufacturing methods, and ingredient formulas can change. Always read the full package label, choose certified gluten-free products when your needs require them, and take steps to prevent cross-contact in shared kitchens. If you have a diagnosed allergy or medical condition, follow the guidance of your qualified healthcare professional.
02
General information
This website shares recipes, budgeting ideas, and Amy's personal experience. It does not provide medical, nutritional, legal, or financial advice and is not a substitute for individualized professional care.
03
Prices & results
Costs per serving and grocery totals are estimates, not guarantees. Prices vary by location, store, season, package size, and substitutions. Recipe results can also vary by equipment and ingredients.
04
Copyright & permitted personal use
Unless otherwise identified, Amy's original recipe wording, directions, photographs, graphics, meal plans, printable materials, page designs, and written content are protected work owned by Amy Jewett and Amy's Affordable Kitchen.
You may cook from the recipes, print a reasonable number of copies for your own household, and share links to the original pages.
Teachers, support groups, nonprofits, publishers, businesses, and other websites must obtain written permission before reproducing full content or distributing copies.
You may not scrape, republish, sell, translate, remove branding from, place behind a paywall, or use the content to create a competing recipe collection, dataset, product, or commercial service.
Brief quotations may be used when legally permitted if Amy's Affordable Kitchen is clearly credited and the original page is linked.
Amy's name, site name, logos, graphics, and distinctive branding may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, partnership, approval, or endorsement without permission. Linking to the site does not create a business relationship.
06
Privacy & website statistics
The Community Kitchen Wall accepts a meal photo, first name, recipe name, and optional short note. Submissions stay private until Amy approves them, and rejected photos are deleted. Please never upload children, addresses, school names, mail, license plates, or other identifying details. Uploaded images are reprocessed so hidden location metadata is not published.
Dinner Rescue stores the email address and permission record supplied by each person who joins its launch list. These addresses are used only for Amy's Affordable Kitchen updates, are not sold, and may be removed when a subscriber asks to unsubscribe. The site uses Google Analytics to understand visits, popular pages, general traffic sources, and device types. Saved recipes, dinner choices, and challenge progress are stored on the visitor's own device when browser storage is available. The site does not directly collect or store payment-card information; Payhip handles purchases under its own terms and privacy practices.
07
Community photos & submissions
By submitting a meal photo or note, the contributor confirms that they created it or have permission to share it, are at least 18 years old, and grant Amy's Affordable Kitchen a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to review, crop, resize, and publicly display it on the Community Kitchen Wall and in site-related promotion. The contributor keeps ownership of their work.
Amy may decline or remove any submission. Contributors should not submit children, private information, copyrighted packaging as the main subject, or content that is unsafe, unlawful, misleading, or unkind. Permission to display a submission ends after Amy receives and processes a valid removal request through a currently published business contact channel.
08
Affiliate links, recommendations & sponsorships
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Some product links are Amazon affiliate links, which means Amy's Affordable Kitchen could receive a small commission if a visitor buys through them, at no additional cost to the visitor. Every qualifying link or sponsored item will be clearly labeled near the recommendation.
Payment never guarantees a positive review, free recipes do not require featured products, prices and availability can change, and visitors should make their own purchasing decisions. Walmart affiliate approval is still pending, and the site does not currently display Walmart affiliate links.
09
Purchases, downloads & donations
Optional digital products are sold and delivered through Payhip. No physical food or product is shipped, and Amy's Affordable Kitchen does not directly receive a visitor's card number. Product descriptions, prices, refund terms, and delivery details shown at checkout apply to that purchase.
For each qualifying 30-day planner sale, Amy's Affordable Kitchen states that $2 will be donated to the Celiac Disease Foundation. This is an independent fundraiser and is not sponsored or endorsed by the Celiac Disease Foundation. Donations are planned quarterly and will be reported on the website.
10
Site safety, moderation & acceptable use
Community uploads are restricted to supported image formats and are reviewed before appearing publicly. Visitors may not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass protections, upload malicious files, access private submissions, impersonate another person, or use automated systems to copy substantial portions of the site.
External links lead to services controlled by other companies. Amy's Affordable Kitchen is not responsible for their availability, security, prices, policies, or content. Visitors should never send passwords, payment details, medical records, or other sensitive information through a community submission.
11
Corrections, removals & policy changes
Amy may correct recipes, safety guidance, prices, links, and these policies as the site grows. Material updates will be reflected by the date below. Copyright concerns and requests to remove a contributor's own approved submission should identify the exact page, the material involved, and enough information for Amy to verify the request through any business contact method currently published on the website.
These plain-language policies are intended to set clear expectations and do not replace advice from a qualified attorney for Amy's specific business needs.
